It’s a great experience in an informal and intimate setting suitable for small crowd. The host is incredibly gracious in sharing his living space with guests. It’s hands on and educational. You will be part of food making process that you will enjoy at the end of the evening. There are a few caveats regarding this particular host which may either enhance or detract from your experience. First, the host is quite opinionated and will speak freely about his own personal preferences. You can expect some usage of “colorful languages and jokes”. Remember this is a very informal setting at his personal residence. For our group it was fun, entertaining and educational. His style and personality make it feel like you are at a festival gathering in your best friend’s home. Absolutely a fun, engaging and enjoyable evening!

While planning our trip to Milan we found this wonderful cooking class. Chef Rafael's class at 6:30 PM in his apartment was a truly wonderful event. Chef taught us many tips and information on ingredients and how best to prepare home made pasta, sauce, alfredo and the best Tiramisu we've ever had. With wine and jazz music we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and dessert. Six people is the maximum for the class. We met two very interesting couples. We shared stories, cooking ideas, etc. This class was a delightful addition to our trip to Milan.
