The Oak Alley plantation tour is one of the most magnificent plantation tours near New Orleans because of the 28 evenly spaced, huge Oak Trees that go from the river road to the Plantation House. The Greek Revival home dates back to 1837. Located on the grounds is a restaurant, blacksmith shop, Souvenir Shop and antique farm equipment. Next up is an airboat tour - hold onto your hat! Our New Orleans Airboat Swamp Tour is a high speed adventure that is part tour and part ride. Along the way, you will get a personal tour by your local Captain. Our airboats have stadium seating, so that the person in front of you does not obstruct your view. So, every airboat seat is great for experiencing the tour and viewing the wildlife.

The tour itself like to get us to the actual plantation and the swamp tour. The drivers were great. The lady in the evening had us laughing so hard. I wish I remembered her name. Now asked for the actual like plantation tour that obviously had nothing to do with this company. It was very odd. The person who gave us a tour spoken, a weird voice. He had no enthusiasm in his voice, as if he was narrating. It was kind of creepy. The plantation is beautiful. Now when we got to the swamp tour, the people out there are hilarious. The guys do a great job. I got to feed an alligator a marshmallow and when I say feed, I mean, like drop it in the water next to it because it’s apparently I’m too scared to actually feed it. But the airboat tour was fun. The guide was hilarious and we had a blast.
