What To Expect
St. Peter's Basilica
St. Peter's Basilica, located in the Vatican, is one of the most important places of worship in the Christian world. Built between the 16th and 17th centuries, it stands on the site where, according to tradition, the Apostle Peter was buried. The Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, located in Rome, is one of the four papal basilicas and the most important dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Founded in the fifth century, it is famous for its beautiful early Christian mosaics, gilded coffered ceiling and majestic central nave. According to tradition, it was built after a miraculous apparition of Our Lady, who indicated the place with a summer snowfall on the Esquiline Hill. The basilica combines early Christian, medieval, Renaissance and Baroque elements, representing an artistic and spiritual masterpiece in the heart of Rome.

5.00This is a wonderful tour. Dina was an excellent tour guide. We visited all four Jubilee Basilicas including St. Peters Basilica. Dina provided excellent background information and showed the highlights of each location, giving us a better appreciation for history and significance of each Basilica. The van transportation in between was also wonderful and saved us steps. We were a small group of four and there was ample opportunity to have our questions answered by Dina. Thank you Dina!

5.00A holy experience so totally worth it! Our guide Dina & driver Mossimo were simply the best. Dina was not only knowledgeable but also friendly and helpful specially with the toilet breaks! It was just me & my friend just like a private tour and they even brought us back to our accommodation. Really appreciate the gesture since it was already nighttime & had started to drizzle.
