Enjoy a 2-hour guided tour exploring the details of this one-of-a-kind ancient city while uncovering moments of terror frozen in time, death postures, and ruins unchanged from almost two millennia ago. Upon conclusion of the guided tour in Pompeii, we’ll visit a historic pizzeria serving some of the most authentic pizza Pompei has to offer (and remember, we’re in the birthplace of Italian pizza, so it’s a competitive market)! After lunch, we’ll make the short ride back to the heart of Naples for more exploring.
Take in the breathtaking view of the Bay of Naples from Posillipo, where the famous saying “See Naples and die” will suddenly make perfect sense. While Vesuvius looms in the distance, take in one of the most naturally and artistically beautiful cities in the world from a stunning vantage point.

5.00This was an excellent tour! Stress free and seamless meeting points and comms. We loved riding the high speed train. The restaurant for lunch was perfect and our tour guide Carla was awesome!! She knew so much about our tour stops and we really enjoyed listening to her explanations and stories. If you have time for an easy day trip from Rome I highly recommend!!! Pompeii will not disappoint. :)

5.00We went on this day trip with our kids age 7 and 9. The guides were very organized and made our day smooth. Once we caught the train to Naples we spent a few hours as a group exploring the sights of Pompeii and then had a delicious pizza lunch. After that we saw some of the main sights of Naples by bus and had free time to walk around as well before returning to Rome. It was a perfect way to get a taste of the area without worrying about the logistics.

5.00LOVED the tour guide!! The initial transfer ended up being a bit chaotic due to train issues, but once we had our actual tour guide, went 100% smoothly. Definitely recommend this for a day trip.

5.00We took the tour on October 7th from Rome to Pompeii and Naples via high-speed train, and it was one of the best tours we’ve ever taken — and that’s coming from someone who is not a fan of organized tours. Everything was seamless from start to finish. Our guide, Antonio, was absolutely fantastic — knowledgeable, engaging, and truly one of the best in the business.
