We spent two weeks around France, Spain, & Italy and this was by far my kids’ favorite activity! They have not stopped talking about it. Our guides were phenomenal and flexible. The motorcycles were so much fun and added an exciting element to the tour. We saw and learned so much about D-Day during our three hours (which wasn’t nearly enough time to see it all)! You definitely need a guide to show you around, and this is a great way to do it with adults and kids!

This tour was amazing and Philippe was one of the best guides I’ve ever had. Incredibly knowledgeable, great mastery of the English language, and a great driver! Highly recommend to anyone regardless of their level of history.

Shortly after arriving in Normandy, Philippe and Tomas picked us up at our hotel and we ventured out on a wonderful 2-hour private sidecar tour. Since we had booked an all-day tour of the American D-Day sights the following day, in the brief time we had they took us to a handful of sights which we would likely not visit on that tour. Both guides were friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. The sidecars were a fun way to get an introduction to Normandy. We were lucky to have good weather and thoroughly enjoyed our tour! Highly recommend!

I’ve never had a better tour! Our guide, Phillip, had a depth of knowledge about the Allied invasion that shed new light on a subject that I thought I already knew much about. He shared details about individuals involved in the D Day landing that will break your heart, and some that will lift you up. He dressed in a replica of an American soldier. Our tour on motorcycle and side car took us through the most beautiful countryside, on a perfect day in May. It was exhilarating! We were smiled at, waved to, given many thumbs up, and even saluted by other tourists, who had no small amount of envy in their eyes….wising they were doing it this way, rather than stacked on a bus. On a scale on 1-10 our day was a 12. I genuinely mean that. Take this tour- it will be your best day ever!!!

Each rider is equipped with a helmet fitted with a lens, and if you’re seated in the back, you’re in for the full package: a classic bomber jacket, gloves, and the ride of a lifetime. Hold on tight—it’s an unforgettable rush! Beyond the adrenaline, the experience was also deeply informative. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the American Cemetery and the broader history of D-Day and World War II. The historical insights added so much meaning and depth to the ride. Highly recommend this adventure for thrill-seekers and history buffs alike. And a tip for fellow backseat riders: wear cargo pants or something with accessible pockets—you’ll want your camera close at hand to capture it all!
