Temple Ngoc Son
(Schedule is flexible) Ngoc Son Temple, Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi, Vietnam Located on a small island in the peaceful Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple is one of Hanoi’s most visited cultural sites. Connected to the lakeshore by the iconic red wooden The Huc Bridge, the temple honors General Tran Hung Dao and other national scholars and heroes. Its serene setting, historical significance, and traditional architecture make it a perfect spot to explore Vietnam’s spiritual and intellectual heritage.
Lake of the Restored Sword (Hoan Kiem Lake)
(Schedule is flexible) Our tour guide will pick you up then we will start our Hanoi Old Quarter Walking Tour. The first destination of the tour will stop by Hoan Kiem Lake, considered the heart of Hanoi. You can observe many locals interesting activities such as playing badminton, doing exercises.

5.00The tour was really great! We learned so much about Hanoi and Vietnam history and saw many interesting things. Ngan was an awesome tour guide, so knowledgeable and friendly and she answered all of our questions really well. We had a lot of fun spending our day with her and her partner (Ken). Ngan’s English is really great and we loved conversing with her! We highly recommend this tour to fellow travelers!
Disappointing Experience.

1.00It was actually a really disappointing experience. Even though both guides were nice to us, they spoke really little English, so explanations of the different sites turned to be difficult to understand. In addition, the chosen places were not as indicated in Viator. We did not go to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, and could not get to know it on our whole trip since it was closed on friday. We did not go to Vietnam Museum of History either. Overall, it seemed to be quite improvised and, what was most disappointing was the lack of explanation and knowledge of the history of the sites (and of Vietnam), which, added to the bad English, made it an experience we would not recommend.
