4.00Although we had some issue with communication due to pick up schedule (can't really say it was just their fault), we were able reschedule to next day. Tour to my opinion was great, Duy Nguyen was great tour guide and I really enjoy the way way as he explain their history. He knows what he is talking about and you can feel that he is master of his subject. What I would improve is maybe little details outside of his reach. As we were really looking forward for river part - unfortunately it was only sailing, no stop at any temple on the way. In the end was hiking with some beautiful views. For this part I would really recommend longer time to wander around, because 1,5 hr is just not enough to see the all. In general it was really eye catchy trip with great lunch served.

5.00We were supposed to go on an overnight cruise in Ha Long Bay, but due to weather conditions, it was canceled last minute. Thankfully, this tour company managed to arrange a private tour to Ninh Binh instead—and it turned out to be the highlight of our trip. Our guide, Toan, was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we met him, he was warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive to our needs. He went out of his way to make sure we had a memorable experience, sharing insights about the culture, history, and local life in a way that was both engaging and personal. Ninh Binh itself was stunning—limestone karsts, peaceful rivers, lush rice fields, and ancient temples. Toan made sure we avoided the crowds and even took us to a few hidden gems we wouldn’t have found on our own. What could have been a major disappointment turned into an unforgettable day. If you’re considering a trip to Ninh Binh, don’t hesitate. This tour exceeded all our expectations!
