You will meet your tour Coordinator outside the Colosseum metro station just across the street from the monument. After a brief introduction, our friendly guide will accompany you to the skip-the-line entrance, for fast lane access.
Once inside, begin your tour below ground and explore the Colosseum’s tunnels, chambers and pits. This section of the Colosseum is restricted to the public and only allows a limited number of visitors each day, so enjoy this exclusive chance to see more than most people do.
Admire the lifts that brought to life Rome’s hunting games. Next you will have access to the reconstructed portion of the arena floor to hear the stories of the bloody gladiatorial battles.
You'll stand in the very same spot where the games took place. This is a unique experience reserved to a restricted number of visitors. Don't miss it !

5.00Scott (from Scranton Ohio) was our tour guide and he was great! He was so knowledgeable. This was just a great experience. We were really able to dive into the history and just the Coliseum in a great way. I’d definitely recommend. Your friends from Chicago.

Great Tour, but no underground access

2.00This tour was not as advertised! There was no access to the underground, tunnels or arena floor areas, which was why we booked it! The only "access" was viewing it from the 1st level. That being said, it was a very nice time of day to go, 5 pm as scheduled, less crowds and! nice to see things towards the evening, when the sun was going down. The Tour itself and our tourguide were great! I would recommend this Tour if you are looking for the last tour of the day. We were just very disappointed that there was NO underground access as advertised!!

3.00This was so difficult to navigate in the evening. Too dark, not well lit, someone fell on our tour. The day time would have been much better. We also had a 84, 79 year old with us and it was sooooo much walking just to get into the colosseum. Also, our guide, although nice, was very hard to hear.
