After meeting at the meeting point, we will begin our visit by exploring the outside of the Colosseum. Here I will tell you its history, why it was built and the context in which this extraordinary amphitheater was born.
After the introduction, we will enter the Colosseum and descend into the basement, where I will reveal the hidden secrets of these ancient galleries used by gladiators and animals before the fights. We will continue with access to the arena, the heart of the amphitheater, where gladiators fought for glory.
We will then climb to the second level, where we will admire a unique exhibition with the original remains of the Colosseum and a breathtaking view of the entire structure. Finally, we will descend towards the exit crossing the south part of the monument, thus ending our journey through time through the history of the most famous amphitheater in the world.

I honestly felt like we got much more of a personalized experience in comparison to all the large tour groups we saw. Said was so accommodating and helpful. 5.00Said was wonderfully engaging and knowledgable! He was also a master at navigating the colosseum’s chaotic crowd; we were so thankful for his guidance. The group size was perfect: 3 sets of couples! The tour included underground, arena, and everything else we could have wanted. I don’t feel like we missed out on anything. Would 100% recommend this tour, especially Said, to anyone who wants to experience the underground and arena!
