Please note that this is a walking tour with a quick bus transfer from Central Rome to the Vatican.
The full names of all participants must be provided at the time of booking and must match the names on the ID/Passport. Name changes are not permitted.
A government-issued ID or passport is required for all participants. Without an ID, security may deny entry to the monument. All guests, including children, must bring ID on tour day.
This tour is fully refundable up to 7 days prior to the event. Within 7 days, this tour is 100% non-refundable.

Due to the religious nature of the Vatican Museums, all individuals regardless of gender must cover their shoulders and knees. You can bring extra covering (scarves, etc) to put on just before entering the Vatican.

5.00Despite the heat, our tour was fantastic! We saw as much of Rome during that tour as we had hoped and more. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about every day life, history of how things came to be, and who did what and when. Explained in common sense what went on back in the ancient Roman days. Best part was we didn't wait in lines to enter any of the areas visited. We had plenty of time to do some individual exploring in various markets, too. We would do this walking tour 100 times again. Plus we got some exercise in the process. Fair warning though, July and August are very warm in Rome. So be prepared with water bottles, sweat rags, sunglasses, and hats. Definitely got our 20,000 steps in that day.

4.00Onboard ship time was good. Mykonos was easy and enjoyable. Ephesus was terrific but physically challenging. Istanbul tour was great. Santorini was a no go because of other ships in harbor and limited infrastructure and heat. Katakolon was a no go due to extra long walks to get off pier again on a very hot day. The entertainment onboard was very good.

5.00Davide was a great guide with so much knowledge and humor, as well. He was able to take us to some other places not originally scheduled which was nice. Yes…it is a lot of walking, but it is broken up and there is time to rest. It was a hot day in Rome and he was always checking to see if we were drinking or needed to stop for more water.
