Dear guests, my name is Alessandro Vagnoni, and I was born and raised in Rome. I'm a professional driver and official "local guide" of Rome, and I planned this City Sightseeing for all those travelers with limited time available but eager to know the best of Rome in one day. My experience and passion led me to identify 12 spots in 7 hours. It is a lovely drive with an A/C Mercedes vehicle around the most significant places of Rome, with stops for pics and explanations about the sites, exclusively from the outside. Your professional English-speaking driver-guide, one person only, has a deep knowledge of Art history and Archaeology, and can explain all the listed sites and monuments and the still surviving ruins. You will be helped with the local language and informed about local food, shopping, and much more. You will capture the real essence of the "Eternal Rome", a town that you will love and never forget, and finally, you will know the meaning of "All the roads lead to Rome".

We kindly remaind our potential customers that this tour does not require tickets for monuments because it is based on driving and seeing the highlights from outside.

We would like to kindly inform our potential customers that sometimes, on weekdays, due to demonstrations or protests or other events, some of the 12 highlights may be inaccessible and will therefore be replaced with other sites, at the driver's discretion, and which do not require entrance tickets.

We kindly want to inform our potential customers that the city tour cannot finish after 5pm based on the tour length of 7 hours considering the latest start time of 10am.

We kindly suggest our potential customers to book early start time, 8an or 9am, above all from May to October, in order to have a smoother driving and seeing.

We had an amazing day in Rome with Alessandro! There is no way we could have seen all we did in a day if we had not booked this tour. Alessandro has spent all his life in this beautiful city so he knew all the back streets and how to most effectively get around. We got to see and learn so much in seven hours! Today we went on the 12 Best Things to See in Rome tour with Rome Limousines, and it was absolutely wonderful. Our guide, Alessandro, was especially kind, patient, and courteous — he felt almost like an old friend we’d known for years. He was very professional and knowledgeable, sharing fascinating history about each of the places we visited. One of the highlights was when he took us to a beautiful church outside of Rome — the tomb of St. Paul — which deeply moved everyone in our group. Alessandro was incredibly flexible, tailoring the itinerary to include the sites we were most interested in and skipping those we had already seen. We were also traveling with a handicapped person, and his care and patience in helping with the wheelchair made the experience extra special. It meant so much to us, as accessibility is often overlooked. Even the restaurant where he took us for lunch was excellent. Overall, this tour was one of the best experiences we’ve had in Rome, and we can’t recommend Alessandro and Rome Limousines enough!

This tour was fabulous and we highly recommend it. You get to see the most key and interesting areas of Rome and the whole Roman empire history in one day. All that from the comfort of a nice clean air-conditioned van. Alexandro was the nicest, most patient and easy to understand Guide we’ve had in a while. His English was excellent. Spending the day with him was effortless and pleasant. His knowledge of the Italian Roman Spanish influence on his country is impressive. Had we done this on our own to see the sites that he was showing us would’ve taken us several days or maybe even a week. But he knew how to zip through the streets, the back streets, the main streets and I’m sure he could do it blindfolded. He knew where to drop us off very close to key sites. And he even had a table reserved for us for a delicious lunch at an Italian restaurant. If you want to see Rome in a day, this is the way.
