They should know it’s just about the information about the royals. That you can see the changing of guards without tickets

Outstanding tour with Allen on the place grounds. Learned so much nuance about English history and some exceptionally unique facts (like you can get married/renew your wedding vows on Sundays at Princess Diana’s family home—Allen, that better be true!!). Please don’t be late- the meeting point is very easy to find. The tour can’t wait for late comers or anyone who becomes separated because this is a military operation that has a strict schedule and even a few minutes will cause you to miss a lot of important things. As a bonus the Navy was commemorating a historical event, so we also saw their marching band play to honor their veterans.

Peter was a great guide with a sense of humor. We were unable to experience the changing of the guards due to the protests. However, Peter placed us on the list for the next day of we opt to do so.

We started off very Rocky because on the description it said the Tour was at 10 am but arrive at 9:45 but then the evening before my tour was to begin I was told instead of 9:45 it would be 9:35. We were coming from Southampton Cruise Port , dropping off our bags at our hotel & heading to the meeting point but our driver was kind enough to drive us instead of us trying to figure out the underground (tube) situation. Long story short we arrived at 10:00 tried to communicate with Allan & to the provider but it was extremely difficult. We finally were able to locate Allan but my party had split up by Buckingham Palace trying to find him. He saw me we spoke I explained that we had been separated from the rest of our party , now don’t get me wrong I totally understand that he had to go with the majority of the group but atleast tell me where to meet you or what was the next stop. He didn’t even do that and he continued on his way . At this point we’re running around trying to find him & when we did he was combative & rude. I will say after we got over the very rude exchange. He was pretty good & aside from the events at the beginning. I would recommend him because he was very knowledgeable.
