Our guide Chang was fantastic. She was always very helpful, knowledgeable and willing to answer our questions. Her sense of humour and contagious energy were also much appreciated haha. The hotel was nice - certain things about it could be better but I overall cannot complain. Sleeper bus was interesting and cozy.

I had a lovely time in Sapa with my family. The transport via sleeper bus was great, but quite small for some taller and stronger persons. The Hotel was perfect and well located. The excusions were as described and the views were breathtaking. It’s quite touristy though. Overall it was a great tour, everything went smoothly and the tour guide was very helpful when we decided to go explore on our own. The whole tour was very well organized and our guide very nice!

The most unorganised tour I have ever been on. No communication anywhere. First day you are taken to Cat Cat Village which I would personally avoid, it is a tourist trap and nothing more. We were with some older people who moved at a very slow pace and so we were extremely bored and asked the guide for the name of the hotel so we could head there and meet. They wouldn't tell us and so we had to sit down for an hour waiting despite offering to make our own way. We became quite frustrated after being picked up at 6am that morning ans by this time its nearly 5pm and we still do not know where we're staying. The second day hike was actually really good through the trails to another village. The third day I messaged the tour operator in the morning to see what time I had to be back to the hotel for pick up and was told 3pm, great off to Fansipan we go. Get calls and messages at 1 asking where we are as they were there to pick us up. Again, just no communication with anyone from this company, no one seems to know what's going on. On the bus back the driver made several unscheduled stops to pick up people on the side of the road who then get onboard and chat with the driver stopping the ability to get sleep and to be honest giving a sense of reduced safety by having random people join the ride in the dark. I'm not sure if this is sanctioned by the company or the driver does it on his own but if a single traveller I would be reluctant to get on board again. All in all avoid this company, the communication was terrible, the food bland and unexciting, you can easily organise this trip on your own for less cost then this and stay in a nicer hotel at the same time.

An exceptional walking tour with our guide Xi. She is friendly, informative, fit and agile. So beautiful to walk up and down hills, through and around rice paddies and through villages and connect with nature and people. An absolute highlight ✅

  • Poorly organised trip with false desciption

I spent a lot of time with checking the trekking tours before I choose this tour and I am very disappointed. First of all it was very expensive compared to the low quality service, food and overall experience. The landscape was beautiful and the trekking was great. However they put me into a 5 star hotel which was 2-3 star compared with other countries. The View Hotel which is famous for the best view, they put me to a room from where I didn't see anything and the wall and the seats were dirty. It looked like someone poored the room all over with chocolate or coffee. The dinner was scrambled eggs for the first night in a 5 star hotel and the second night a cheap konzerv sauce with shrimp pieces not full shrimps with rice. The hotel was loud the whole night. The guest were shouting in the night and early in the morning at 6am. When I went for breakfast at 6.40 half of the breakfast buffet was already gone... I complained to the receptionist who couldn't even say an apology or sorry... During the trekking tour they gave me tofu with rice for 3 days, no other choice because I eat vegetarian and seafood. Basically I had to buy extra food because I was hungry and they write the food is included... only to keep you alive. The trekking tour was poorly organised. When we arrived they divided us into separate groups and didn't really notify us whats going on. My guide told me I paid more because the Fansipan cable car ticket is included as I read it in the desciption as well, however nobody give me my ticket. On the second day when we finished the tour none of the guides care about what happens with me on the third day. They left me alone because nobody paid for the Fansipan only me. Later on I texted and called the tour operator about my ticket and they said it is not included. The lady didn't speak in English when I called she only could translate my texts with Google. I spent about 3-4 hrs in stress and had to organise the 3rd day by myself and pay for the cable car again. If I just wait for the tour guide and don't look for answers, I never see the Fansipan because this company couldn't even give me information. Please don't book this with them if you want a nice organised trekking tour. I wrote a couple of e-mails to Viator to request a refund because I paid twice for the cable car which is 40€ per trip. They didn't care. They just said they don't do refund without any reason. I never book anything on Viator again.
