Designed for small groups of up to eight, this intimate experience begins with an engaging introduction to Vietnam’s coffee heritage and the country’s signature Robusta beans—the key export that makes Vietnam the world’s second-largest coffee producer.
Guided step by step by a friendly local barista, you’ll master the art of brewing with the traditional phin filter, create the iconic Hanoi egg coffee, and explore up to six distinct local styles, including two trending favorites — salt coffee and coconut coffee.
Each guest will brew and taste their own cup, receive easy-to-follow recipes and a small takeaway gift, and leave with the confidence to recreate these authentic flavors at home. Your coffee journey begins with a warm welcome at a modern, creative café in the heart of Hanoi. After a brief introduction to Vietnam’s coffee history and culture, you’ll dive into a fully hands-on brewing experience guided step by step by a local barista. Using authentic Vietnamese materials—freshly roasted Robusta beans, the country’s main export variety that has helped Vietnam become the world’s second-largest coffee exporter, along with the iconic phin filter, egg yolk, condensed milk, and natural local ingredients—you’ll learn to craft six unique coffee styles that represent the essence of Vietnam’s coffee heritage. You’ll brew and taste each cup yourself, spending around 60 - 120 minutes in the workshop area learning, experimenting, and exchanging stories with other coffee lovers. The instructor will personally guide you, answer your questions, and help you refine your technique. At the end of the session, you’ll receive a small takeaway gift along with personalized local tips on where to eat, drink, and explore in Hanoi — perfect for those who want to experience the city like a true insider.
