This experience starts promptly, and you won't be able to enter the museum if you miss your tour. We suggest arriving 30 minutes early as there will be a line for the security check before you can meet your guide inside the Met.

We aim to show you the very best art at the Met. However, what’s on display can vary, so if an art piece we typically show isn’t available, your guide will substitute it with something else.

The Cantor Roof Garden is typically open from mid-April through October. In winter and early spring, our tour won’t include this stop.

It was a specific, concrete, and quite informative first-time experience for such a great place! Given the time and the number of rooms it has! Ken's attitude in the explanations and the effort he made in his presentations to be heard, given the noise and number of people there, was very good work.!

Erika @ The Met!! If you are looking for a tour guide to be well educated on her history and her city, I recommend Erika. She was funny and thoughtful in her story telling. Our guide Ken was super friendly, funny, and really knew his stuff. He added information about the exhibits that kept everyone interested. Learned a lot and had a great time. Totally recommend this tour!

Ken is a tour guide good enough to leave two tips! He’s a passionate story teller who draws you in and will tell you the what of what you’re looking it, why it’s important, and also the history of how it got into the MET.

Ken was so knowledgeable! He clearly has a passion for his work and talked in depth about details of each exhibit we saw. He also gave us tips for places we should come back around to after the tour was over. Really appreciated his energy!
