It's a good show for first timers. Should have update us by the girl who distribute the ticket , that we should collect the audio earpiece to have English explanation.

Tour was booked for 5:20, tour operator contacts me saying that it was sold out and if 6:30 would be ok. I arrive for the 6:30 show and their contact has tickets for the 5:20 show. Ended up having to buy my own tickets for the next 8:00 show. Neither Viator or the tour operator was of any help. The tour operators use WhatsApp so that Viator cannot see what is going on. Insist that the tour operators use the Viator means of communication.

We really enjoyed the puppet show and appreciated the musicians and singers too. We couldn’t follow all the events but it was fun to watch. We met the person from Viator at the box office to get our tickets - that was easy. You do get people recording/taking photos but it was intermittent and we could still see. We went for mid range tickets. We really enjoyed it and would recommend.

Really recommend this show for an evening in Hanoi. It's 50 mins and goes by quick - it's different to anything you've seen before and enchanting! I don't recommend the headsets though - even though the show is in Vietnamese, the headphones for translation are a distraction. The puppets do a good job of communicating!

Despite the fact that we had bought tickets online, the show turned out to be sold out. The Visitor employee was unable to purchase tickets. After much insistence we received 2 cards. 1 place appeared to be double sold. After insisting again, we were able to stay.
