Host guide was exceptionally professional and knowledgeable, sharing insights with clarity and enthusiasm. This experience was educational and memorable. His videos were engaging and resonated with all participants. I recommend this tour to anyone seeking a well-organized, informative, and truly inspiring experience. As a suggestion, perhaps more could be charged in the fare, and tourist could be given an opportunity to explore the trade market or select an eating place within an hour or 45 minutes. I believe people would pay the increase. In summary, this tour far exceeded the swamp tour I took years ago and never saw an insect-let alone an alligator, even though it was in the summer!😄😀

Sooooouuuul good! The host was great, knowledgeable, funny and to the point! Loved his authentic expression and his commitment to his city. Good tips—he should seriously think of doing a solo food tour or incorporating some of that in this tour. Then, instead of a 5 this tour would be a 6! Thanks!!

OMG!!! Jay was an amazing tour guide. This tour was everything that I didn’t know I needed. From the French Quarter to the the lower 9th ward all of it was amazing. So much information and emotional but was very much needed. Thank you Jay for all the great restaurant recommendations. I’m coming back with my family and friends.

Soul of New Orleans is a wonderful tour that delves deeply into the history of noon white folks. I learned a lot that I didn't know about and had the pleasure of meeting Leonna Tate, PhD, one of several others who integrated New Orleans schools at the same time as Ruby ( the one who got all the publicity).
