Stonehenge
While traveling, your tour manager will give you some insights into Wiltshire’s most intriguing relic – Stonehenge – and explain a few of the theories about the building of this Megalithic stone circle. After traveling for roughly 1.5 hours, arrive at Stonehenge and spend time exploring this incredible site independently. While strolling around this UNESCO World Heritage Site, ponder the tales your tour manager told you earlier, and make up your own mind about how and why it came to stand. Was it built as an astrological observatory, or was it perhaps intended as a sacred burial place? How did the gigantic Sarsen stones get to the site when no machinery existed to transport them? At the pre-arranged time, meet your tour manager back on the coach and then relax on the journey to Southampton on England’s coast. Your guide will drop you off right outside Southampton cruise terminal in time for your cruise.

First of all, Ben and the driver were fantastic. However, through no fault of their own, they were delayed 2+ hours. The weather was terrible, again no one fault. Stonehenge was amazing, although due to weather we did not wander much.

Dan our tour guide and Will our driver were awesome! We were after a transfer to Southampton via Stonehenge via London but got so much more. Informative, entertaining and turned out to be the highlight of our trip

Received a call from the “tour provider” on the morning of pickup stating my tour had been cancelled and other arrangements would have to be made. I pressed the caller for more information and he wanted me to contact them via “WhatsApp” to continue the conversation. This was obviously a scam calll but what was concerning is that this person had my name, phone number and tour pickup time. He somehow got it from Viator or the tour operator. This was very concerning to me. Fortunately the tour company representative came into the hotel while I was trying to sort it out. Next problem was we were shuttled to a central location and then found out bus was going to be late and we along with 6 other people were left in the lobby of the central pickup point without a tour company representative. Waited 40 minutes for bus to arrive to start tour. Stonehenge was great but overall experience was not.

Our driver Zack was awesome, that bus on small narrow roads he was a pro. Dan (the man) our guide had lots of stories to tell on the history or the areas we passed. Overall it was a very nice trip.
