Stonehenge
While traveling, your tour manager will give you some insights into Wiltshire’s most intriguing relic – Stonehenge – and explain a few of the theories about the building of this Megalithic stone circle. After traveling for roughly 1.5 hours, arrive at Stonehenge and spend time exploring this incredible site independently. While strolling around this UNESCO World Heritage Site, ponder the tales your tour manager told you earlier, and make up your own mind about how and why it came to stand. Was it built as an astrological observatory, or was it perhaps intended as a sacred burial place? How did the gigantic Sarsen stones get to the site when no machinery existed to transport them? At the pre-arranged time, meet your tour manager back on the coach and then relax on the journey to Southampton on England’s coast. Your guide will drop you off right outside Southampton cruise terminal in time for your cruise.

Great way to transfer from central London to Southampton! Dan was friendly and knowledgeable & Lamaa was an excellent driver. The amount of time at Stonehenge was just enough. Would definitely recommend this over trying to put the trip together on your own - toting luggage around on trains & busses does not sound like an amazing day when a comfortable coach is headed this way!

Beautiful bus driven by Lamar with Dan as guide. Could have used another 15-30 minutes at Stonehenge. Dan provided commentary regarding history of the area during the bus ride. Highly recommend this transfer from Heathrow to Southampton with the Stonehenge tour.

What a great experience! Our driver was so nice and our trip guide Dan was wonderful! He shared lots of cool stories, facts, and helped keep us organized throughout the morning. He came up to each family to connect and share stories. Really appreciate International Friends for a great tour, we were picked up from our hotel, all tickets for Stone Henge were organized, and Dan gave us great tips for the day at Stone Henge. We look forward to our next tour with International Friends!

it's a long drive between Heathrow airport and the cruise terminal. Adding stone hedge into the trip was a nice add in. There was some confusion as to the correct pick-up time (We waited for nearly 2 hours because our pickup time showed 7:00 AM. The hotel called for us and found that the bus leaves London at our pickup time and it would be 9:00-9:30 before we were picked up. We had already checked out of the hotel. We ended up waiting in the hotel lobby for the 2+ hours)

Was nice to be able to combine transport to the port with a tour of Stonehenge. Our driver Lamaa got us from point A to B safely and efficiently, while Dan provided history, stories, and a few bad jokes to make the trip go by quickly.
