When we arrived, they didn't have our booking and insisted that it started at 8pm, not 6 pm. My booking confirmation clearly stated 6 pm so they rushed to set up and provide the class for just the two in my group. There was a very large group booked at 8 pm, so our "teacher", Tommy, had to set us up in a small upstairs room. Tommy was bit frazzled by the situation, but did a good job working with us. He's a really hard working and made the best of it. All the food was very good and the experience was fun for us, overall. I do want to point out that there was some questionable sanitation practices happening. There was no sink or running water in our room. We never washed our hands before starting or during the process, including after handling raw chicken. There was no emphasis on knife techniques as the description states and we had to be the ones to monitor if the raw chicken knife and cutting board were being used on raw vegetables, etc. It was a little panic inducing if you know anything about salmonella. We kept wondering if we'd have food poisoning the next day, which did dampening our overall enjoyment. If you can look last that, then the recipes are great and you will learn about Spanish dishes. You get to eat everything you make and Tommy even gave us some to take home.
