Sara the tour guide was amazing! Anybody who can do tours with her will have an outstanding time! She clearly informed us at Ellis Island to stay and see what we want. We promptly left after 1 hour and spent 2 hours in 90 degree heat in a line of 500 people who could not get on any ferry’s to return to manhattan! 4 children passed out and were taken away and 5 adults were medically evacuated after a strong women yelled in the line to open the gates to let us out of this cattle car situation of not going anywhere for 2 hours! Boats arrived and left and nobody was allowed in due to nobody got off the boats. No management in site to deal with this emergency situation. I was escorted to a bench and in our third hour I was taken in a boat to get back to manhattan after collapsing. This is a nightmare and would never trust to go on a tour with thousands of tourists and no control fo getting out! Please know, Sara did her job and left us at Ellis Island and she was a 10! I’m being a tour guide - she never could have known that there was no transport to get people back to Manhattan and we were stuck in alone in 90 degrees packed in with no manger to be seen to help !!
