I can’t recommend this trip enough. The boat and their crew was perfect, but book through someone else. I booked the executive suit online room online through Viator and when I get on the boat they had no record of this. They said I only had a junior suite booking (two levels below what I had booked). Unfortunately, my confirmation form and ticket did not have any information on them (see pic) to confirm the room I booked. Had they have had junior suite on them I’d have called and cancelled as soon as I received the confirmation email. It was still a very lovely room and I had a wonderful time, but the boat is a separate business to Viator and Viator had nothing to do with that experience. I found out from 3 other guests who overheard the conversation that I had paid from$300-$450 more than them for the same room. We were all solo travellers who caught the same transport van together from similar pick up locations. There was absolutely no difference in our experience. When the cruise ship contacted the company on my behalf they didn’t budge. I contacted the company via email and phone and was told that there was nothing I could do and that I couldn’t have booked the more expensive suit. I know I was careful with my booking because it was a lot of money for me and a big decision to select the nicer room. Knowing they were standing firm and not refunding me any price difference, I saw a price match on their website so I tried to use that route to get a refund (see pictures attached of comparable websites). I was told that you can’t compare these bookings because they didn’t include the $75 transfer. I would have been happy to have found a compromise (the $450 - $75 transfer or even much less to be honest), but Johnson was unwilling to move at all. He just told me that I do not understand and that he could no longer spend his time talking to me. The complete refusal to find a compromise for something I had clear evidence for was enough to make me write this review and cancel any other future booking with this website.
