Experience the summer solstice at Stonehenge on a sunset or sunrise excursion from London! The astrological celebration at the ancient site has become an annual pilgrimage for druids, sun worshipers and revelers who flock there to welcome the summer. Embrace the festival atmosphere during a sunset viewing on June 20 or a sunrise viewing on June 21, and walk right inside the stone circle itself. I would start by saying our tour guide and driver were wonderful and its a shame they were put in this situation. This was a highly rated tour and I wanted to love it.Instead it was hurried, the food at was inedible and were given about 10 minutes to eat.Once finally arriving to the Stonehenge entrance,it was obvious we weren't going to see the sunset if we didn't get out and RUNNNN.and thats what almost everyone resorted to on our tour.I booked with this company bc it was well regarded and Im glad we did have some stops before Stonehenge but man,it was simply ridiculous what everyone went through here.

You would think going with a tour bus they would know that getting into Stonehenge would be difficult on the summer solstice and/or have an arrangement to get their tourists in safely and effectively. None of that happened. We were late, and cutting it close to almost missing sundown. Everyone got off the bus and had to walk for two hours just to get to the stones to only be there for 20min before we had to leave. That was not the plan or what was promised. Very disappointing.

Terrible trip, poorly organized, I am telling you to refund me. The coach got lost, we were late, we had to provide directions to Avebury, the toilet broke and stunk up the entire downstairs for hours making us feel sick, Steve the ‘guide’ got so many basic historical facts wrong, he constantly talked and repeated himself, his joke about the pigs was unacceptable as there were veggies and vegans on board, he made us late for arriving at Stonehenge and if it wasn’t for Tyronne’s smart driving, we would have missed it all together. I want my money back in full please

For a sunrise trip, only transportation and the sunrise event itself are included (there is not enough time to explore the grounds better). Not worth the price.

This was an absolutely wonderful tour - the highlight of our trip to London! The ability to visit Avesbury first and learn about henges proved a truly helpful approach. Learning about "lay lines" (the magnetic lines in the earth) increased our understanding and awe of why these circles were built. Lacock was interesting - a quintessential English village - especially for Harry Potter fans! Stonehenge itself was amazing and to be able to enter the circle and touch the stones a once in a lifetime experience. We were able to talk with Druids and Pagans and witness their celebrations as well as getting fantastic pictures of the sunset. The crowd was large but extremely well mannered - we were very impressed! The only negative was the distance we had to walk to actually get to the henge. From where our bus was parked it took 40 minutes over fairly rough terrain to reach the stones. We would have appreciated a "heads up" regarding this as it would have made a difference in choice of shoes! Also, we were warned repeatedly to be back by 10:00 P.M. or the bus would leave without us as it had a "window" of time to depart. This was barely 30 minutes after sunset and the long walk was problematic! In spite of this, we would do it again!
