It was a magic experience! I went my my 1.5 year old son and husband and we had so much fun, our guide was super knowledgeable and I really felt I learnt a lot and could appreciate the local cosine....it might be a cliché but for us the highlight was having someone help us try stinky tofu.....which was surprisingly...good!!

It was a really immersive experience! As I arrived I feared what is safe to eat what should I look out for, but I was pleasantly surprised by how many flavours Taipei has to offery not even mentioning the wonderful guides that made the experience truly unforgettable!

We did this tour in December 2025 with a small group of friends from Europe and it was the highlight of our time in Taipei. relaxed vibe, and a guide who actually knew what they were talking about (and clearly loves food). We tried a solid mix of classic Taiwanese street food and lesser-known local spots where you’d never randomly walk into on your own. Everything felt very local, not staged or touristy. And yes, THAT stinky tofu is a MUST-HAVE, ultimate dope!! Nice pacing, plenty of food (come hungry), and a fun walk through Datong in between tastings. You get full, learn a lot without trying too hard, and leave with a better feel for the city. Would absolutely recommend if you like food and want a genuine local experience.

I can't think of a better way to explore the Taipei food scene than with this food tour. Not only was the guide knowledgeable about the best local foods to try and the history behind different dishes, but the organizers of the food tour worked hard to foster a friendly vibe within the group and had excellent communication. I highly recommend going on this food tour! Get ready to have fun and bring an empty stomach.
