We did ours today (8/15/2025). It was an awesome Japanese culture experience! The Tea Master and his assistant did a great job educating us. Their price is also better than the others. There is an additional 1,000 yen per person for the kimono rental and it was worth it! They are very accommodating and gave us recommendations for restaurants when we asked them. Thank you Kangetsu!

We booked a private, one-to-one Traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony with a Tea Master, which was supposed to include wearing traditional Japanese attire as part of the experience. However, upon arrival, we were placed in a group session with 13 other participants, and the traditional attire was not provided. At no stage during many correspondence we were informed it was a group setting. This was not the personalized and immersive experience we had paid for and agreed upon in advance. The experience was meant to be intimate and personalized, with only the two of us and the Tea Master present. Had we been informed we would had chosen this option. Really, we are disappointed with the experience.

A rather intimate ceremony with a tea master and host. Our children came along too (11 & 13), and enjoyed the history and activity of the tea ceremony. For those that enjoy tea, its a great way to hear the history of tea in Japan.
