They also need to know the quickest route.
On top of all that your driver is also a qualified guide having completed a written and oral exam through the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers. You will travel from west to east and get to feast on all the history, heritage and culture this vibrant city has to offer.

Paul was exceptionally knowledgeable, engaging, and funny — his passion for London’s history made every stop come alive. From Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace for the Changing of the Guard, to visiting the royal outfitters and tasting the famous Ginger Lemon Liqueur once favored by the early royal motorists — every moment was memorable. He even brought us to The George, London’s last surviving galleried coaching inn dating back to the 1600s, where we enjoyed a perfect pint surrounded by centuries of history. If you want a day that’s both educational and entertaining — with a true Londoner’s insider touch — book Paul. You’ll laugh, learn, and fall in love with London all over again! 🇬🇧✨

5.00This tour was what we hoped for and more. It does exactly what is says. You get a complete overview of London. Every sight we visited, Paul explained why it was there, what it was used for and had fantastic facts and stories. His storytelling technique is excellent. Travelling around in his iconic black cab was such a joyful experience and even we sawed the London Eye, the Gherkin, Big Ben and Buckingham palace as Paul is an expert of the iconic London landmarks as we sawed during the private black cab sightseeing tour . Paul was kind, considerate of our needs throughout the tour. We asked questions, he answered them all. This really is the best way to see London. I’ve been on private tours all over the world and this was easily the best. Thanks again for a first class experience.

5.00We only had 1 day available during our holiday for a tour of the city and we knew Paul Williams of Cabital City Tours was the only guide we wanted! The reviews were all stellar and sure enough our experience lived up to expectations and beyond!! We asked Paul to give us the London's greatest hits tour in which he expertly navigated the city with so much efficiency and knowledge, with perfect timing we got to see everything!! From Big Ben chiming to the changing of the guard at Westminster to clear traffic for an Abbey Road photo op to name a few. He knew the exact spot for the best photos and we appreciated so much the family photos he took. How lucky that everyone could be in the family photo! He shared so many stories, anecdotes and knowledge that we can't help sharing our new found knowledge with friends and family! We had the best time touring with Paul! Whether it's your first visit to London or 10th his tour will be the best you'll ever take. Thank you Paul for your generous spirit, kindness and knowledge of London - we loved every minute!

5.00We knew even before our trip that we wanted Paul Williams to do our tour of London! After reading the reviews and with only one day available to tour around it had to be Paul! And was that the best decision we made on the trip!! Paul communicated with us in advance prior to the trip to confirm he was available, which was fantastic. We spent 6 hours touring around London, we left the itinerary in his hands and he brought us to see all of London's greatest hits along with places we'd never heard of and would never have found ourselves! He is so knowledgeable and shares wonderful stories and anecdotes. So many that we continue to share and regale to our friends! He is kind and thoughtful and wanted us to have the best time, he took so many family photos, how amazing to have everyone in the photo at one time! We loved that he knew the times that events were going to happen and structured the tour so we got there at the perfect time and placed us for a perfect view. His inside knowledge was so helpful and allowed us to have an efficient tour, with no time wasted! He also knows everyone! All the places we went business owner to other guides shook his hand with a warm hello, which says a lot about his reputation. Whether it's your first time or 10th time in London, he is the best and we can't wait to return for more adventures! 5.00LITERALLY THE BEST PART OF OUR WEEK IN LONDON. OMG, worth every penny. Paul is incredible! He picked us up at our rented apartment and off we went. We mentioned that we like music and the Beatles and were hoping to get to Abbey Road. Well, we sure got there and he included a few extra things along the way that we were just thrilled about. (Jimmy Page & Freddy Mercury homes) We even got a few minutes to shop in the Abbey Road Store! We literally snuck into spots all over London and got amazing pictures (Christmas Cards - check!) Just let Paul know what you are interested in (Harry Potter, Historical Places, Rock and Roll, etc.) at the very start of your tour and he will do his best to accommodate you-don't be crazy :-) There is time to stop for lunch but we opted to get a sandwich at Pret and eat it in the cab so we could just keep moving and seeing as much as possible. The access and speed at which you get to see literally all the important highlights of London is priceless. Not to mention the history, pop culture and just fantastic conversation you will enjoy throughout the day. Paul dropped us off back at our apartment but you can be dropped off wherever you want, just let him know in advance of your intentions. I left a black sweater in the cab and Paul was kind enough to drop it off the next day. (TY SO MUCH :-) Please tip your drivers and take this tour, 1000% worth it!

5.00A perfect way to see London. Paul brings the history to life with his incredible knowledge and storytelling technique. I was going to book the open top bus tour but after doing this there is no need. Personal, professional, immaculate vehicle and fun.

5.00Our family of 4 including 2 teens booked this tour for our spring break. It was the best thing we did on our London vacation. Paul has a way of engaging you that you are literally wanting more and more. The cab is clean and so beautiful. We felt like royalty. I have been on private tours all over and this was special. Everywhere we visited, he explained what we were looking at in a fun and entertaining manner, but we also learned so much. From start to finish, Paul’s courteous and professional approach shone through and I will be recommending him to everyone I know that is coming to this great city. 5.00Our taxi sightseeing tour was amazing! This tour is so convenient with hotel pickup. Our driver, Keith, artived promptly on time, was extremely knowledgeable about the city, and took us to many places that we would have never found on our own in London. The taxi was impeccably clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend this tour!
