Our second multi day tour with Go Tours, and again just a perfect way to travel. Our guide Len couldn’t have been any more informative, competent, and FUN! Many interesting and memorable stops , and great accommodations. We chose the hotel stays , our other travelers chose the B+ B+B’s. You won’t be disappointed!

Excellent five day tour of north England in a small group (15 max) with great driver/guide. (Our second outing with this company). Good balance of visits to sites and driving. And smaller vehicle than a tour bus permitted us to go along on smaller, quainter roads. A definite plus. Driver Len kept us well informed while exploring the countryside. His affable & kind personality made the trip extra special. Would highly recommend them!

The 5 day tour with Go-Tour was wonderful. We saw so much! Our driver/guide, Len, was such a gentleman and an excellent driver. He also gave us a lot of interesting historical information that improved the context for the places we visited. Negotiating those 2-way narrow one-lane roads in that 16 passenger van was amazing! Highly recommended, company and driver/guide both.

Our tour was fabulous! Our driver, Steve, was so knowledgable, friendly, and professional. He gave us historical information along with funny little stories. The lakes region was absolutely beautiful...so green. I enjoyed all of our historic hotels as they helped me envision what life would be like then, but were also very comfortable. I recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see the gorgeous English countryside!

Amazing trip! Organised with utter professionalism. All places were so lovely. We were with the B&B option and it was very, very good. Very clean accommodations with delicious food and extremely friendly hosts. Our driver/guide was lovely man called Steve, he did his best to accommodate everything. The first and last days are quite tiring because of the long distances we have to cover. But the Steve made sure we had fair share stops. I would definitely recommend this trop 200%. Need more people to book. Stunning places to visit up there in north!

We had a great time touring all the way from Cambridge to York and the Lake District. The small-group setting and accommodations were great. The journey through the countryside was beautiful with a nice weather as well. Steve was knowledgeable about the places we went to and even recited a poem for us, as we travelled through the Lake District. A wonderful experience overall and I would highly recommend it!

Our group of six not only had a great time, we also had great weather! There were a total of 12 of us our our tour, and our traveling companions (Aussies) couldn't have been nicer than if we had selected them ourselves. Steve was quite accommodating, which permitted me to arrange to meet friends in Cambridge during our first stop. Time permitting, Steve was also able to make stops when we wished to take pics along the way. In addition as we made our way through the countryside Steve would provide some historical background on the places we'd visit or see along the way. I would highly recommend this trip to most anyone - as long as they are fairly mobile as there can be quite a bit of walking during your self guided portions of the trip. A great time was had by all.

My husband and I took the York and Lake District tour last month. Not only did it exceed expectations but it was terrific value. The convenient London hotel departure point has a lobby cafe and facilities available prior to departure. The small 16 seat bus was modern and comfortable and Steve, our driver & guide, was always smiling, polite and courteous. Throughout, he was relaxed and provided engaging insights, commentary, fun stories and recommendations based on our personal and group interests. We chose the B&B option and, in both York and Windermere, the lodgings were of high standard with terrific breakfasts – just expect lots of stairs in English city B&Bs! Overall it was a wonderful, fun adventure with marvelous scenery and fun co-travelers, but with the security of a professional driver/guide who provided choices. Independence retained; fulfillment enhanced. Thank you GO-tours.
