Villa Adriana
This enchanting day trip from Rome begins with a 40-minute bus ride to Hadrian’s Villa. The vastness of Hadrian’s estate is a sight that will surely impress. The Emperor chose to build his residence outside the city in a place rich in water, in order to build the famous Canopus, one of the most preserved sites left in the complex. The statues surrounding this pool of water create stunning reflections on its surface, beautifully surrounded by luscious green gardens

Marzia was a very professional, well-informed guide. We learned a lot and toured two beautiful sites in Tivoli. Well recommended for a day trip from Rome.

The extensive ruins, history and beautiful gardens are a must-see in my opinion. Tivoli is a lovely town for a lunch stop (and gelato!) in between visiting the two villas (we purchased tour tickets without lunch included so found our own). Our tour guide (Marsha) was very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive - she also accompanied the group to the meeting point with clear timings when to meet again after lunch. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rome.

The destinations were amazing. The tour was very good, but the time in the city of Tivoli itself could have had a bit more help from the guide. There is A LOT of walking -- inclines, stairs, etc.

Wonderful view of Roman Times and 16th century. Very interesting and beautiful gardens of Villa D’este. Heads up! The meeting place was unclear as there are 3 different exits from the metro and they don’t specify which!!

Easy, organized. Make sure you check the weather. Rain can make things slippery. We had beautiful weather and a lovely guide.
