Villa Adriana
This enchanting day trip from Rome begins with a 40-minute bus ride to Hadrian’s Villa. The vastness of Hadrian’s estate is a sight that will surely impress. The Emperor chose to build his residence outside the city in a place rich in water, in order to build the famous Canopus, one of the most preserved sites left in the complex. The statues surrounding this pool of water create stunning reflections on its surface, beautifully surrounded by luscious green gardens

Fantastic access to these villas in Tivoli. Make sure to get the lunch included with the tour. Worth the price.

My wife and I were looking for a great experience out of the city and away from the crowds. We found this trip and were interested in seeing the ruins as well as the estate. Both locations were absolutely amazing and the town of Tivoli itself was a real treat. The sights were beautiful, the history was fun, and the lunch was great. Highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see some of Roman majesty and Renaissance architecture out of the way of the city crowds.

This tour had a little bit of a rough start. The group assembled at the meeting point 25 minutes before departure as instructed but no one was there. Approximately 5-10 minutes later one of the group walked over to a mini bus in a bus stop across the way only to find out it was indeed the tour. After the member walked over, they held up a little sign which could not be seen or read from across the street. At this point, the rest of the group walked over. It was rush rush to get on the mini bus and away we went. Once started, our tour guide was very informative on the way to our destinations as well as during. She was knowledgeable and professional. Sites were incredible and filled with a multitude of history. Headset was a must but cut in and out if you weren’t close enough to guide on actual tour.
