Villa Adriana
This enchanting day trip from Rome begins with a 40-minute bus ride to Hadrian’s Villa. The vastness of Hadrian’s estate is a sight that will surely impress. The Emperor chose to build his residence outside the city in a place rich in water, in order to build the famous Canopus, one of the most preserved sites left in the complex. The statues surrounding this pool of water create stunning reflections on its surface, beautifully surrounded by luscious green gardens

Very knowledgeable guide and interesting tour, but I could unfortunately only understand about 75% of what she said. The lunch was not good at all, and unfortunately the time we were given to explore Tivoli was useless given every shop closed for a number of hours midday, so we just sort of waited around.

Thoroughly enjoyed our tour today. The meeting place was ideal for us and where we stayed. The tour was great, informative and Marcia (English equivalent of her name) was a great guide. Everything went without a hitch and we saw same fantastic things that we probably wouldn't have visited ourselves.

Had a fantastic day with Marzia touring two spectacular sites near Rome. Had not heard much about these sites but Hadrian’s Villa is truly amazing and we have seen a lot of ancient sites throughout Sicily and Turkey. And Villa d’Este and it’s amazing gardens and.fountains rival anything we have seen. The tour is very well run and an easy day trip.

We loved Villa d’Este and Hadrians Villa. However at the gardens and after lunch the guide left us and we had to find our own way back. We got lost and has to rely on residents to ask for help finding our way back. Also, the person bringing the audio devices was more than 30 minutes late so our tour went late and we missed our next event. This tour was a disaster from the beginning. Skip the tour and visit the sites on your own!

This was a fascinating and stunning day trip. I loved both of the locations and I thought it was very affordable. Hadrian's Villa and Villa D'Este were amazing and full of fascinating history. It was actually not that far from Rome so was easy to get there and I will never forget it!

Tivoli gardens are worth the trip. Don't have a guide, just go experience them yourself. Hadrian's villa was impressive. More history or stories about the site and its use and less instruction about the tour logistics would be appreciated. Our guide told us very little, but spent a lot of time repeating where to stand, where to meet, what would happen next & etc.

It was a great day trip from Rome. The sites were amazing and exceeded what I thought I would experience. Our guide, Lucy, was very knowledgeable about history, politics and anecdotes that kept my interest. Opted for the no lunch deal as preferred walking around Tivoli and bought some nice gelato. The bus ride was a good way to see another aspect of Rome (though bus itself was a little dated). The day went so smoothly and quickly. Would highly recommended!

There were several tours rolled into one so some people were having lunch. Some people were continuing on, and some folks were only using it as transportation. … it was very confusing.
