The fountain at the junction of three roads (tre vie) marks the terminal point of the "modern" Acqua Vergine, the revived Aqua Virgo, one of the aqueducts that supplied water to ancient Rome. In 19 BC, supposedly with the help of a virgin, Roman technicians located a source of pure water some 13 km (8.1 mi) from the city

2.00We booked the Private Rome Golf Cart Tour with a Local & Gelato or Wine through Aromatour srls. Our guide, Mateo, had a pleasant personality and was friendly; however, the overall experience was disappointing. He seemed too preoccupied with texting on his cell phone, and we often had to ask him to explain the sites because he wasn’t offering much commentary on his own. At several stops, he simply parked and told us to walk around by ourselves, which made the tour feel more like a self-guided ride rather than a true guided experience. The highlight of our tour was actually the delicious gelato stop he took us to — it was excellent and a nice treat. Unfortunately, aside from that, the tour didn’t live up to expectations, especially considering the cost.

5.00Christian provided an evening golf cart tour to my daughters and me around Rome. It was such a wonderful experience to see Rome at night all lit up. Christian went above and beyond the tour that was listed and took us to other places as well. He even took us for gelato which was delicious. It was a very memorable experience. We all had such a lovely evening and enjoyed Christian's company. He is a delightful young man. I would highly recommend his tour.

5.00We enjoyed the three hour golf cart tour with Matteo so much! He was knowledgeable of course but was interesting and thoughtful as well. My husband had difficulty walking so this tour was perfect-he parked the cart and we could easily walk to the sights including Trevi fountain, the forum, the coliseum, St. Peter in chains and the park at Villa borghese. Very relaxing way to see a hectic city.
