Alcazaba

The Alcazaba was a residential area for the elite garrison at the service of the Sultan that guarded the palatine city. The Alcazaba is considered the oldest area of the monument. It is thought that before its construction and the arrival of the Muslims to Granada, there were various buildings in the same area. It is considered the military zone.

The Generalife is the villa with gardens inhabited by the Nasrid kings of Granada as a place of rest, located in the Spanish city of Granada, in Andalusia. It was conceived as a rural town, where ornamental gardens, orchards and architecture were integrated, near the Alhambra.
