We are a couple and we often do this kind of activity. We went snowshoeing with Henrik on January 20, 2026. It was truly a wonderful experience and not too strenuous for us. Henrik was friendly and kind, he took beautiful photos of us and offered us hot drinks and snacks once we reached the top. We were also lucky with the weather. We highly recommend this experience 🙂

What a great tour we have made! Henrik took us to a fantastic place and with his enthusiasm and humor he made a party of it! For us a trip with a golden lining with a proposal at the highest point. Henrik also turned out to be a fantastic photographer and captured this special moment with beautiful pictures. Couldn't be better!

I really enjoyed the snowshoe hike in Tromso. At first, I wasn’t sure whether I would be able to do it, but from the pickup right through to the completion of the hike, it was a superb experience. I’m so happy that I could do it. The gloves Henrik provided were incredibly warm, and the hike was perfectly paced. Henrik was amazing throughout. The highlight of the trip was definitely the snow slide. Enjoying hot chocolate and delicious homemade cookies, surrounded by snow and scenic beauty, made the experience even more special.

We had an amazing snowshoe hike with Henrik and four others — the views were incredible, the weather was perfect, and the reindeer clearly in a good mood too. But honestly, the real highlight was Henrik himself: his perfectly dry humor, relaxed style, and great stories as a true Tromsø local made the whole experience unforgettable. If you’re in Tromsø: go with Henrik. You won’t regret it.

Henrik was the absolute best guide in our time in Norway. He took our group of six friends out on an Arctic snowshoe hike in Tromsø, and it was one of the best memories of our entire trip. He’s incredibly kind, patient, and such a great person to talk to — it felt like spending the day with a friend rather than a guide. We learned so much about the arctic region; the hike itself was stunning and something we’ll never forget. Couldn’t recommend Henrik more!

Henrik, our guide, made sure we reached the hiking spot safely by carefully driving there while monitoring the weather and choosing the best location for the conditions. He kept a pace that suited everyone and regularly checked in with the group to see how we were feeling, whether we were cold, warm, or needed a break. This allowed him to adjust the route and ensure that everyone felt comfortable and happy throughout the hike. We stopped and took pictures wherever we felt like doing so but also to just enjoy the view. We chose this tour because they specialize in small groups, and we absolutely loved that personal approach. We had a lot of fun with Henrik and learned so much about the surrounding nature. We will definitely book this tour again if we return to Tromsø, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a real adventure rather than the usual tourist activities.

I joined the snowshoe hike during my solo travels in Norway. I was a bit nervous at first but Henrik and the other guests made me feel right at home! It was the most beautiful day and the colors were absolutely stunning. We spotted some reindeer on the way to the hike and luckily had enough time for a quick stop. The hike itself was the perfect duration and not too difficult either. I felt safe and well taken care of at all times. At the top, we had some local snacks and delicious, local coffee. Henrik also took some amazing pictures that captured today’s experience perfectly. At the end of the hike we even got to do some sledding, which brought out everyone‘s inner child. This was truly a unique experience and I am so happy I chose to book with Unique Norway. Thank you once again to our amazing guide Henrik and the fellow guests for such a perfect day!

The experience of snowshoeing with a guide like Henrik has been amazing. He guided us, he easily got adapted to our 10 year old kid who enjoyed a lot btw. Stunning views, weather and company.
