Had a magical experience with Sea Safari! The business is run by Kat and Lad, who offer a great tour away from mass tourism. The bus ride up to Skiervøy is comfortable and they provide all necessary gear (suits, boots, goggles and gloves). The ride on the RIB is already a fun experience and with the whales and the fjords just absolutely beautiful. We saw fin whales, humpbacks and plenty of orcas. Since the skipper often turned the motor off completely, they would come right up to the boat and we could really observe these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. Would recommend this tour to everyone who wants to experience these animals in the wild and beautiful fjords of northern Norway!

Our whale watching tour with Seasafari Øksnes was incredible from start to finish and truly one of the highlights of our trip to Tromsø. We had the most amazing day and were lucky enough to see an extraordinary amount of wildlife - innumerable orcas, huge super-pods of humpback whales, eagles, and even fin whales. The sightings were absolutely breath taking, and I still can’t quite believe what saw. Our guides were outstanding. They clearly knew exactly where to go to find the whales and expertly avoided the crowds, meaning we had uninterrupted, up-close views that made the experience even more special. Their passion and enthusiasm were infectious, and it was obvious how committed they were to giving us the best possible day. We learned so much along the way, with plenty of interesting facts shared, and they were more than happy to answer any questions we had. We were also incredibly well looked after - provided with all the right gear to keep us warm and comfortable out on the water, followed by hot chocolate and a delicious lunch to warm up afterwards. We cannot recommend this tour highly enough to anyone visiting the area. It truly was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and one we will think back on and smile about for many years to come.

Huge thanks to our skipper Ladislav, who took us out to sea. We were lucky enough to see plenty of orcas — I’ve never seen so many and so close! We also spotted humpback whales and fin whales. A full hat-trick! What I loved the most was the feeling that the company truly cares about the environment and the whales. Ladislav shared lots of interesting information, and I left the boat with a big smile on my face. Simply WOW! I also want to thank Kat for helping me with the reservation and providing all the information — everything went smoothly. Kudos, guys! :)

One of the best experiences I have ever had; it will definitely remain in my memory forever. Our skipper, Ladislav, provided us with insulated suits, boots, goggles, and gloves to keep us warm. He then gave us a safety briefing and explained how the tour would proceed. Once on the boat, which was fantastic, we set out to look for orcas and humpback whales. Luckily, after just 10-15 minutes, we found a pod of about 15 orcas. Because we were the first boat to arrive, they came within 5 meters of us, which was an unforgettable experience. On the way back, we took a slightly wider route hoping to find humpback whales, and we were rewarded with sightings of at least 10 of them! Finally, once we were back, they offered us hot chocolate and some delicious baguettes. A special thanks to Ladislav for making our day so incredible, and to Kat for her kindness and professionalism in answering all our questions and helping us with the booking!

Kat and Lad were amazing guides. They are experts in cetaceans and wildlife and there is a passion for their work. We saw many whales and killer whales. Also a white-tailed eagle hunting. Amazing! 🐳🐋🥰. The setting is really wild and spectacular 😍. One of the things I liked the most was the respect for nature that this company has by not interfering in the life of marine fauna (which other companies do). By the way! They also give you all the necessary equipment such as thermal suits, gloves, boots, etc. And at the end of the tour they have a picnic with hot drinks to get warm again. Definitely 10/10 ❤️. I learned and enjoyed it a lot. I'd come back a thousand times! Thank you very much guys!! 😄 Recommended 100000000% ✨️🩵.
