Starts with spaghetti bolognaise in a famous Italian restaurant. The guys taking the tours aren’t tour guides- they’re retired NYPD cops from the area. Fascinating and informative. Cannoli best l ever tasted. Only thing l,d say is it needs to run to time- it ran over. Highly recommend

My 17 year old son and I really enjoyed this tour! We explored an area that we really weren’t familiar with and loved learning about the different groups of mafia and history. Plan on over 3 hours; I’m sad we had made lunch reservations so we had to leave the tour before it ended.

Fabulous walking tour of the area of NYC where organized crime was formed. Great history of organized crime delivered by a generations long NYC local. Bonus of delicious pasta and canolli.

Great tour! Dennis was the perfect guide, his "inside" stories really brought New York's mafia history to life. The route and timing were planned perfectly. Highly recommend.

We did the true crime NYC mafia tour yesterday, led by Dennis, a retired NYPD detective. Such a fun, authentic experience. Dennis walked us through neighborhoods he both grew up in and worked in- it felt like you really got a firsthand account of what it was like in these neighborhoods, with a unique perspective of the mafia in NYC. He was real down to earth and open to answering everyone’s questions. Included a great Italian spaghetti lunch at an iconic spot and topped it off with an amazing cannoli. Definitely recommend it especially if you have an interest in this aspect of New York City history.

If you truly into the truth then go for it. There are stories that could make some people feel good uncomfortable, but I felt that it was real.

This is the 2nd time i have done this tour & Dennis did not disapoint! It was great doing the tour again as dennis spoke about other interesting mob facts which was great to hear (and also very personal experiences) i could not recommend this tour enough! The food is also great & will be booking into Johns next time we visit! The audio is really good & clear (not like some other tours where you hear crackles)
