This was an incredibly informative — and delicious — tour, and our guide, Luna, was amazing. She knew a lot and was able to take us through the various markets, answering all of our questions. She knew so much about the markets that she was able to steer us to t he right places, ensuring we did not have a bad meal. She was super friendly, very attentive and got us to our various destinations on the tour (we had to take a number of subways, with transfers) safely and without any problems. If you choose this tour — and you should — do see if you can get Luna as your guide. She’s great .

The tour and sushi making class was not a bad experience per se, but felt a little underwhelming to us as a couple. You don’t get to eat until the very end of the sushi making class (so don’t come hungry). I think we would have had more fun just wandering the Tsukiji fish market ourselves and trying different booths. Highlights of the experience were making the sushi, and ofc, eating. Loved the class chef Kate as well, very skilled.
