During periods of Sede Vacante, the Sistine Chapel will be closed to the public without prior notice due to the Papal Conclave (election of a new Pope). As this is a decision made by the Vatican, access to the Sistine Chapel is not guaranteed during these times. No refunds or discounts will be issued regarding this.

4.00It is a lot of walking. Lots of stairs. Not handicap friendly. The directions for the meeting place was not clear. The taxi took us to the wrong place. There was no number to call but the agent called us and luckily we were very close to the meeting place.

5.00We traveled as a family of 3 (mom, dad, 9yo daughter) and found it to be a great tour! The guide was very knowledgeable and well spoken. She did a great job of sharing information and then giving people a few moments to wander on their own and take pics before moving onto the next thing. We liked that we were given the opportunity to continue exploring on our own after the tour was over.
