We had guide Silvia, she was super explained everything top and knew how to name the highlights. It's too much to watch so it was very nice that she told the things that were important.

Thank you, Polina, for a memorable and informative tour. The experience was well paced and easy to follow. Finding the meeting place was simple and the duration was perfect: not too long, not too short.

Our tour guide had an emergency and was not able to make it and the agency could not find a replacement so we did a self guided tour using the audio from the Vatican. Which was ok but I know we missed those special insider stories. We were able to skip the line into the Basilica which was great. Overall is was an ok experience.

We were lucky enough to be able to visit the day after the Sistine Chapel opened again following the conclave. Our host Marta was everything you could hope for from a guide. Her English was excellent and so the explanation of what we were seeing was second to none. I don't know how she was able to recognise and keep track of our group so quickly but she was able to keep us all together with expertise (let's just say not all of our group were easy to keep track of and she was very patient). We whistled through security and passed all the queues. The Vatican is busy and you are swept along by the crowd but Marta found spots to tuck away and explain what we were seeing. We had plenty of time in the Sistene Chapel to take in the art. Marta was very clear that taking pictures is prohibited but this was largely ignored by most people in there and we regret that we followed the rules and didn't take pictures ourselves. We didn't want to risk our lovely guide getting into trouble. The Basilica tour was fabulous, again very knowledgeable and then left us to explore for as long as we needed. Highly recommend this your, and Marta the guide. Was a very special afternoon, thank you.

We had a wonderful time with Marta ! She was kind and gave us the best history lesson we could ask for. The way she would explain everything was just so beautiful and made everything so much more enjoyable. Given the time we had went, with the Pope being elected the day before, she handled the business and changes very professionally. Would like to mention we arrived on the wrong day for our tour and the team helped us call a taxi, called our tour guide and got us to the collosuem in record time to ensure we didn’t miss our entry time - this was incredibly kind. Would 1000% recommend this team and their wonderful tours !

Our guided tour was presented by Marta who was simply wonderful. Marta took our group of 5 straight to the front of the line. We toured the Vatican garden, Vatican Museums & St. Peter’s Basilica. Marta’s knowledge was very extensive & she gave us a wonderful experience. The tour was something we will treasure forever!

The Vatican museum and basilica are better if done with a guide not alone. The skip the line is a must as the queue are very long. Onceuponatime tour company have been very professional. Their guide was very knowledgeable.

This was an amazing tour, and such a great guide (marrizzio). The early first tour on the morning was absolutely ideal. It was so informative and well worth the 3hrs.

We arrived at the meeting office which was nice, clean, and accessible. The people working there were not friendly, and the first thing we were told was that the tour would be leaving 25 minutes late (it ended up being more like 35). We were told to follow a person who never introduced himself (was he our guide?) through the crowded streets of Rome to our starting point. He did not carry a flag or other way to see him in the crowd, so we were relegated to follow others we recognized from the group (about 15 people) and hoping for the best. LUCKILY, when we arrived at the entrance, we were met by a lovely guide, who introduced herself, handed out listening devices with earpieces, and carried a flag (though it looked pretty worse for wear-a tattered, plain black piece of fabric with no markings...). Thank goodness, from that point on, the tour was excellent. She did a beautiful job of explaining the history of what we were seeing, pointing out relevant details, etc. I would have no qualms about recommending the TOUR GUIDE, but unfortunately can't say the same for the company for which she works...That said, touring Vatican City/Sistine Chapel/The Basilica is an absolute must on any visit to Rome. Don't miss it.
