  • NOT Worth it!

This was advertised as a Skip The Line entrance. It was not!!! We booked for a 3pm entrance… we received a last minute email saying it was changed to 5pm. We didn’t gain entry into the museum until almost 6pm. The Vatican Museums close at 8pm… We were rushed thru the whole museum! I did ask/received a credit. But it ruined the experience!!!

We booked the activity for 4pm. Picking up our tickets, we are told to go to 17!! And close at 8:00 p.m. long waiting. Entry at 5:30! And we're "pushing" at 7pm!! Viator reservation paid 130 euros for 2. On ticket: 25 euros/ person!!!????

  • Don’t buy this, wait in line and buy the ticket for twenty euros

It's a scam. They offer you a ticket without queues but you wait in line about 45 minutes and those of the agency go ahead at the arrival of the group and buy ten minutes before you enter the ticket office RECOMMENDATION: even if there are NO tickets left on the official website of the Vatican, wait in line (you will have to wait for it if or if) and buy the ticket directly at the box office for € 20 and not for almost € 70 that the agencies charge you and are SCAMMING you

  • Not worthy at all

We booked a skip-the-line ticket because we wanted to explore the museum and chapel at our own pace. However, a day before our visit, we were informed that our schedule was moved from 4 PM to 5 PM — which we accepted without issue. On the day itself, we waited at the meeting point for about 30 minutes before starting the walk to the Vatican Museum. Please note that their office is quite far from the actual museum entrance, so we had to walk and wait again for around 10–15 minutes under the scorching sun before being allowed to enter. We were grouped with participants who had a guided tour, which was confusing since we booked a self-guided option and thought we would proceed separately. This was my first time booking through Viator, and I regret not following my gut to use Get Your Guide, as my previous experiences with them have been much smoother. To add to the disappointment, the price we paid for the 4 PM activity was even higher than expected, making the experience feel less worthwhile overall.
