It was an awfully long day a total of 9 hours on the bus, but we got around 5 hours to see and explore, most of it on our own after an initially guided start in St Marks, and then a glass showroom. Plenty of time for lunch and then a good exploration of the island and canals. Guside and driver good and professional.

Long drive 4 hours to Venice and 4 hours back. The guide doesn't even bother to introduce himself. For such a long drive he could talk a little bit about Italy history and point out certain interesting buildings or area as we pass by Milan and Bergamo. Felt like such an easy job for him to get everyone on bus, talk a little about Venice, and walk us through the area a little bit. No what I expected after joining so many different tours. As for Venice, no as exciting. It may be cheaper to just buy a high-speed ticket to Venice and self tour.

Venice is just too far from Milan to make for a good day trip. 3.5-4 hrs each way (necessary stop mid-way) makes for a very long day. On arrival there is time for a bit of history and information (our guide was good) but not to actually tour inside of anything. And the optional gondola ride was a complete rip off - though that likely more on the gondola guys than on Viator but a better explanation of what spending 30 euros per person gets you certainly would have been appropriate. It turned out to be a 15 min ride of what on the canals amounted to a turn around the block with nothing particularly interesting to see. Give this one a pass!

We enjoyed getting to hear about the history of Venice, the live glass blowing and taking the optional gondola ride. However, don't eat any food in the main square as the birds snatched our lunch within seconds of walking into the square. We went on a chilly, rainy day but it was still beautiful. Our guide was friendly and helpful.

Venice is a must do trip in Milan highly recommend! Only thing is the tour guide wasn't friendly, chastised people when they asked questions on meeting point and time. He also walked too fast without a flag. Trip was awesome - tour guide was 😖

My husband and I did while on our honeymoon. This was the absolute best part of our Italy trip. We were picked up in Style from our hotel. The bus ride was nice and our guide was absolutely wonderful and very knowledgeable! Venice was more than what we imagined. We bused and boated to get there and it was great. We enjoyed the guided tour. Then had the glass blowing class. Afterwards we did the gondola ride (An absolute must while in Venice). We even had time to enjoy the Venice on our own. Not only would I highly recommend but my husband and I plan to do this again! If you're thinking about it just do it! It's worth it!

This was our first time booking through Hellotickets, and it was a complete disaster. Their provider, Zani Viaggi, said one thing, Hellotickets said another total miscommunication, no accountability, and clearly an internal conflict. We ended up being the collateral damage. Our family was left stranded in Venice, even though we arrived on time and called for help. We were dealing with a medical emergency, and they showed no sympathy, no assistance, and absolutely no human decency. We’ve taken many tours in the past, but never experienced anything this poorly handled. Never again with Hellotickets. For future trips, we’ll continue booking with Civitatis and Europamundo they’ve always been professional, organized, and reliable.
