A Cape Tribulation day tour is something you must add to your Tropical North Queensland holiday. Amazing natural beauty and destinations, ancient rainforest flora and fauna, wide rivers and sandy beaches, are just the beginning. This is a full, fun adventure day tour which departs daily from Cairns or Port Douglas. Travel is in a comfortable, air-conditioned coach and commentary is provided by friendly, knowledgeable guides who are committed to your satisfaction. Whether you’re a youth traveler, flying solo or visiting with your spouse and/or friends, with or without children, this destination and tour has something for everyone. Our Cape Tribulation day tour takes a maximum of 20 guests, no minimum number for departure.

What To Expect
Daintree National Park
Your Cape Tribulation day tour commences with complimentary pick-ups from your Cairns, Northern Beaches or Port Douglas accommodation. If departing from Cairns and the beaches, it’s a scenic coastal drive up to Port Douglas. From there we head north amongst the sugar cane fields to our first stop, a short restroom break in the Mossman area. Continuing our journey north we access the Cape Tribulation section of the World Heritage listed Daintree National Park, by first crossing the mighty Daintree River. This is done on the only operating cable ferry in tropical Australia.
Gondwana Rainforest
Once we’re over the river, things really begin to change as we step into the wilderness. The road narrows and the rainforest towers over us as we enjoy the ever-increasing beauty of this 135-million-year-old ancient Gondwana Rainforest.

5.00had such an incredible day exploring the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation with Cape Trib Connections! The tour was so well-organized everything ran smoothly, and we got to see so much in one day. The guide was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made the trip fun with interesting facts and stories along the way. I loved that it didn’t feel rushed or too touristy just a really genuine experience of the area’s natural beauty. Definitely a highlight of my trip to Cairns! Highly recommend Cape Trib Connections to anyone wanting to see the Daintree and Cape Trib in the best way possible

5.00A full and comprehensive day exploring the many "bucket list, must see" attractions- thoroughly recommended. The day was seamless. Connections smooth and the pace of the tour was not rushed but no waiting around either. The guide, Jeremy. was very knowledgeable and had a passion for the area. We were lucky to see crocodiles within minutes on the Daintree river on the cruise, Cassowary simply doing its thing, had sand in our toes on Cape Tribulation beach and after Daintree icecram. waded in the crystal clear waters of Mossman Gorge. The lookout and the passing views from the mini bus were spectacular. A fabulous day out. Thank you.

5.00Great day out to the Daintree, Cape Trib, and Mosman Gorge. Our guide, Jeremy, was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and kind. We spotted a cassowary, ate tropical ice cream, and stopped at a number of picturesque spots. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to explore tropical North Queensland. 5.00Jeremy was a lovely guide. Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the Daintree region. He also had a lovely personality, you could tell that he was buddies with just about every local vendor we came in contact with. He did a good job getting us to each location early to beat the other groups. I felt like I had Cape Trib all to myself! The river cruise was a highlight and the lunch was tasty. I’d go again!
