There are no tickets for the Shibuya Sky tower because of people like this guide who buy all available tickets. We arrived at the pick up location expecting to see a flag or a badge for the tour, but there was no such thing. After asking 3 people, waiting for other tours, we finally found this guy, hidden at the end of the street. There were about 20 other people, who arrived for the tour. He didn’t introduce himself. We received the promised tickets and then the so called “walking tour” began. He showed us 2 things, stopping at a “photo spot” for 5 minutes. Then he dragged us to a shopping mall to see the Nintendo and Pokémon store, where he said we had 5 minutes to look around and meet him at the escalator. We returned after 3 minutes and he was gone. We saw other people from our group wondering where he went as well. In conclusion the walking tour is an absolute scam. However if you just want to receive tickets for the Shibuya Sky tower, book at your own risk. Some people couldn’t find him at all and he didn’t even give them their tickets.
