This was such a wonderful experience. I had learned about Kintsugi online and wanted to do it myself during my first time in Japan. Michiko was incredibly welcoming and her hospitality made the time learning Kintsugi truly wonderful. I left with genuine joy and would do again in a heartbeat!

We loved our Kintsugi class with Michiko. She has a wonderful and welcoming energy. So patient and kind during our learning experience of this wonderful art and philosophy on life. Highly recommend Michiko and learning about this age old metaphor of life as Rumi would say “the crack is where the light goes in”. Great photos to remember our wonderful experience. Grateful for our time with Michiko.

We had a delightful experience at Mon Cadeau. Michiko was a terrific host and instructor. The tea and snacks she served were excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time learning the history and technique of kintsugi. I would highly recommend Mon Cadeau to friends without hesitation.

I scheduled a Kintsugi workshop with my daughter. We arrived at Michiko's beautiful place and were greeted warmly with tea and local Japanes sweets. We learned Kintsugi techniques and the beautiful meaning behind the art of beautifying and acknowledging imperfections. Throughout our amazing and thorougly enjoyable time, we also had a warm and wonderful conversation with Michiko. I highly recommend this amazing and unique experience.
