What To Expect
Columbus Park
Columbus Park, formerly known as Mulberry Bend Park, Five Points Park and Paradise Park, is a public park in Chinatown, Manhattan, in New York City that was built in 1897. During the 19th century, this was the most dangerous ghetto area of immigrant New York, as portrayed in the book and film Gangs of New York.

Vibrant Chinatown is a densely populated neighborhood that draws foodies and tourists to its many Chinese and Southeast Asian restaurants for dumplings, pork buns and hand-pulled noodles. The busy sidewalks are packed with souvenir stores, bubble tea shops, and markets selling everything from fresh and dried fish to herbs and spices. 5.00Patrick was the perfect tour guide. He was friendly and knowledgeable. Loved the history lessons! It’s a lot of walking but the pace was reasonable. I never felt rushed. The food stops all provided tasty and generous samples. I’m not sure if the dumplings or the pizza was my favorite. My husband loved the dumplings.
