Chureito Pagoda
It's a peace memorial park with Shinto shrines and as many as 400 stairs leads to exotic and mind blowing view of Mt. Fuji at different elevations. Chureito pagoda at the top was build in the memory of soldiers and civilians lost lives in world war I and II, famous for viewing and taking pictures with majestic Mt Fuji from the observatory deck.
Oshino Hakkai
Oshino Hakkai are the eight springs found in Oshino, Yamanashi, Japan. The aquifer water from Mount Fuji comes out to the ground to form these springs. They are a Natural monument of Japan, part of the Mount Fuji World Heritage Site. Winter offers a particularly stunning vista of the iconic mountain. That vista is the striking “Diamond Fuji” phenomenon, which can only be seen from certain places due to the position of the Earth. Diamond Fuji is when the rising or setting sun aligns perfectly with the peak of Mt. Fuji, as though the caldera is cupping the sun. A small open-air museum, the Hannoki Bayashi Shiryokan, surrounds the largest pond. A small admission fee is required. The water in the Waku Pond is especially clear and clean, and visitors are encouraged to drink it and even take some home in a bottle. It’s a great place to buy gifts and souvenirs, street food is amazing as well.

Beautiful day seeing Mt Fuji and the surrounding areas. Bajwa, our driver, contacted us the evening before, asking to depart at 7am rather than 8am to avoid traffic. We really appreciated this. He also quickly confirmed our request to include a boat tour on one of the nearby lakes... this was my daughter's favorite part of the day. Bajwa also recommended very nice locations to eat, shop, take photos and drink from the spring water that is supposed to extend your life! It was a very pleasant day! Moving at our pace, seeing the highlights in a comfortable car and having complete control over the details to the itinerary. To finish the day, Bajwa also helped us purchase our train tickets to Osaka and made sure we knew where to go to catch our train. Completely professional and extremely helpful. Truly a highlight of our trip to Japan!

It is not a guided tour, but the drivers do provide suggestions and can be a guide for additional fee, which we did and Ali was great. Traffic and crowds were an issue today and did result in our limit on number of locations we were able to attend. Our driver did his best to minimize the travel time by finding alternate routes when possible.

After our original guide company cancelled on us in the middle of the night with no explanation as to why, 6 hours before we were supposed to leave, this company was able to secure a driver and get everything set up to make our Fuji trip possible in less than an hour and a half. Absolutely exceeded all my expectations and saved a huge moment in our trip!! Our driver Sunny was very kind and accommodating, and brought us too all the best spots around Fuji. I recommend booking with them for your Fuji adventure!
