You each have your personality and strengths and work together as a team to ensure we enjoyed and stayed safe! The trip was exactly as described and more as we were the only people on the trip. Lunch back in the office was super tasty too! Pure trek, you have an amazing team!

We loved this experience so much. My partner and I wanted a little more adventure in our trip, and this did not disappoint. We ended up being the only guests with our guides, and Mauricio, Alberto, Enrique and everyone made the trip truly special. The trip is exactly as described in terms of what they take you on, but because our group was so small we got to do things more than once. It’s truly wonderful to go someplace and feel your guides having as much fun as you. We are climbers, and the gear at PureTrek was all very professional and equipment we use at home. We felt safe and taken care of the entire time. The fact that you get fresh fruits and a meal at the end is such a nice touch. They also pick you up at your accommodations. Mauricio even showed us some insects and plants on the walk back from the water. This was well worth what we paid. We highly recommend this tour, it has been the highlight of our trip so far and an incredible memory.

Absolutely incredible experience on the Rainforest Falls Tour! Family of 4 (parents, 20 year old son and 13 year old daughter). Booking it during the “rainy” season meant we had the tour completely to ourselves. Our guides were amazing - kind, patient, energetic, funny, just the absolute best. We felt very well cared for and safe the entire trip. If you are looking for an adventure that will take you outside your comfort zone this is it! And booking with Pure Trek will not disappoint. We cannot recommend this adventure enough - just do it!!!!!

Family experience - dad and two teens (14 and 17 yo). We booked for the early morning tour. We were picked up from our hotel exactly on time in a comfortable minibus and headed straight off to Rainforest Falls near La Vieja (about 45 mins journey). Turned out the 3 of us were the only people on the tour that morning! Our guide managed to spot a couple of sloths on route to the rainforest, just at the side of the road. We switched from the minibus to a 4x4 truck on arriving at the rainforest. Short, bouncy and fun journey up into the clouds of the rainforest. We had our guide, photographer and 2 other staff with us, so we felt very safe and well looked after throughout. Started off with rappelling down a large waterfall and then got dunked into the cool water at the bottom! Then we worked our way down the valley with numerous jumps into the river (varying heights from a couple of metres to the last one which was 11 metres!), ladders, swimming and short hikes. Our guides helped us to keep calm and pluck up the courage to do each of the jumps. The location was amazing - felt very wild and remote - and we all had a great time! We had a lovely lunch at Pure Trek base camp on returning to La Fortuna and got to watch our photos and videos (which we purchased) on a big screen next to our table. A great memento of the adventure and really good value (I think the charge was around $30). Highly recommended!

I went as a solo female traveler and had a blast! The guides, Jorge and Miaron, were super experienced (more than a decade each!) and made us all feel so safe. I never imagined voluntarily climbing down a cliff, but with Pure Trek it was not only possible but a great experience! 10/10 would recommend and do again!

This was definitely the best thing I’ve done in Costa Rica. The experience was amazing from start to finish. The rappelling was really fun, and it was really impressive to climb down beside a waterfall, looking out at the river flowing beneath me. There were lots of jumps into beautiful, clear pools, and everything felt very safe while being absolutely thrilling. The platforms were sturdy, the water was plenty deep and wide, and the whole route was easy to move through. The guides were also excellent. They gave clear instructions, paid attention to every detail, and you could tell they genuinely love what they do. I think this was the most beautiful nature spot I’ve ever seen, it was absolutely awe inspiring every step of the way. It also felt special to have the entire place to ourselves since it wasn’t on land available to the public. The food was good, we got seconds, and the photos/videos turned out great. I would do it again without hesitation.

What an amazing time! Best activity in La Fortuna by far with my early teen son. It was the highlight of our stay. Perfect mix with some repelling and thrill seeking jumping from cliffs. For those looking for that little extra you can’t get from zip lining or white water rafting, this is it! Alberto and Mauricio will take great care of you while Sam records and photographs your memories … well worth the extra cost!

We absolutly loved our expericnce and our guides! - Roberto, Alex, and their team made sure we had fun, but most importantly that we felt super safe! It's a perfect combo of adventure and views!
