You must have a valid International Driving Permit, Japanese drivers license, or Japanese SOFA license (based on the 1949 Geneva Convention). Holders of a driver license from Belgium, France, Germany, Monaco, Slovenia, Switzerland or Taiwan can also use an official Japanese translation provided by the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF) or the country’s embassy or consulate in Japan

Minimum age is 18 years

A maximum number of reservation is 7 people per booking

All Go Karts are for 1 person only. There are no multi-person karts

The facility offers costumes for you with no additional charge. You can buy some inexpensive costumes at the nearby Don Quixote shop if you would like your own.

Height restriction: All participants must be between 150cm to 190cm

Weight limit: under 100 kg

The tour may be cancelled when it rains heavily. When the activity is cancelled due to bad weather, you will be able to re-schedule without charge. If the alternative date for re-scheduling due to bad weather is not available, you will get a full refund.

Kindly ensure your arrival 20 minutes prior to the commencement of the scheduled tour.

Regrettably, we are unable to provide refunds in the event of either the omission of your international driver's license or the presentation of an international driver's license that lacks validity in Japan

It’s aaaaaaaawesome, I love it so much~ I’m a new driver, and I was a bit nervous before I try it, but everything was clear and easy. Chris helped a lot and made it so simple. He was very supportive and he took care of everyone and guided us well 🙏🏻🤩 Don’t hesitate to try it!

This is a must do experience if you are a first timer in Tokyo. It doesn’t seem as disruptive to locals in this area and with this amazing company. Our guide Luca was an amazing host and made our drive worthwhile. I would 100% do again. Most importantly they went above and beyond to accommodate our changes. We had to move our time and each time they worked with us to get the best experience. THE BEST KART COMPANY IN JAPAN!!!

Luca was an amazing lead driver and made this a beyond fun experience. He let us drive and really enjoy the experience with no hand holding and all we had to do was follow him and the safety rules. The carts were comfortable and I’m 6’2 and 280lbs with a somewhat muscular build so that was awesome. Being from the states and experiencing driving a completely different way was incredible and I’m so glad we chose Akiba kart as the company we went through for this experience. They worked with us even though we had a bad can driver who made us late which were really grateful for…all these guys here are amazing and show they love what they do.

Great fun!! Went through the city and at first was scary but once get a hold of it in like 2 minutes it’s great! Luca was a great guide, easy going, taking lots of photos and funny! Great conversation! Would 10/10 recommend.

I knew I wanted to try the infamous Go Karts during my trip to Tokyo, and it did not disappoint! The booking and check-in process were seamless. We got to choose fun costumes to wear and had the option to use a GoPro, which made the experience even better. Our guide, Luki, was absolutely amazing—she gave clear instructions, made sure we were safe while having fun, and took tons of great photos of us. She truly made the experience unforgettable. Thank you for helping make such a memorable moment for me and my boyfriend!
