  The tour guide had no knowledge of Tokyo. When asked about sights we went to see he could not tell us about them. He needed to constantly read his cell phone to determine where we were going. He drove with his cell phone in his hand the whole day. This is not permitted even for traffic directions in Tokyo. Hands free is allowed if not distracting the driver. The tour guide drove us through two sites. He told us there is nothing to see. The guide dropped us off at park for self tour of gardens. He told use it should take about an hour when questioned. He sent what’s app message to us 5 minutes later telling us to return as needed to go to Shrine as closing. Please note we just paid entrance fee for gardens. When the female asked questions the tour guide would not answer. He would answer the male participants. The company emailed us that if we were not 100% satisfied with the tour they would give us a full refund. The tour company lied.

  Aki was absolutely wonderful in every way! He was knowledgeable, informative, helpful, flexible and proactive. We had a full day tour with him, at lunchtime he found us exactly what we wanted and that was the case throughout the day. We recommend him highly.

  It was a good deal for a private english-speaking driver, specifically for the price, comfort and convenience. Our tour guide brought us to several places that we wouldn't be able to see in one day if we hadn't gotten this tour. Our driver was more knowledgeable than expected, which was great. We also rode comfortable and safe in the car for several hours. He took us to Shinjuku Goen when I requested to see cherry blossoms, which was gorgeous, and he took us to a sushi restaurant at Tsukiji Market that was - seriously, best sushi I'd ever had. He was kind and attentive. He was great as a driver. But generally, I think you should temper your expectations on a tour-guide experience because I can imagine that it's challenging to be a lively charismatic tour guide while navigating the hustle and bustle of Tokyo traffic. You might want to give them a heads up on where you want to go and the duration of the tour prior to the tour itself.

  Nice guy but hardly spoke. The experience felt like he was a driver and not a tour person. Recommend he improves his people skills .

  Guide was our driver, it would have been nice if we were told en route of any interesting sites or buildings that we saw. We were told about the particular sites we had asked to visit but it was disappointing to find that the first site was closed on a Monday, we were not previously advised of this and were not offered an alternative site. We did visit Ueno park and were looking for a particular statue but were left to visit on our own. We had good guidance in some sites but not all.
