Learn about Spanish wine and discover traditional Iberian ham houses in Madrid. During this 2 hour tour, taste several cuts of Iberian meats like chorizo, salchichon, lomo, and ham paired with manchego cheese and other classic tapas. As you do so, learn about the fascinating history and culture of wine, the differences between each type of ham you can find in the market and master how to shop for them like a local.

We had our guide Brian all to ourselves (family of 3 people). Other participants apparently cancelled, but the tour took place on October 3, 2025. We had a very individual tour near Opera Square in Madrid: Visit the Tapas Bar Taberna Matuca 1827, with really authentic tapas and 2 wines (red and white) from the region. Then the raw ham and cheese tasting with sparkling wine reception at Jamones Julián Becerro. We asked many questions and received in-depth competent information. Thanks to Brian. PS: Truck race Jarama was great! Our friends Jochen Hahn gets de 2end place and Steffi Halm (Team Schwabentruck) got the 3rd place in the End of the 38. 2025 European Truck Racing Championship. We had a wonderful tour with Brian. He took us to an amazing restaurant and we snacked on delicious local cuisine and drank wine. We also then went to sample different grades of jamon iberico. He shared his knowledge with us and gave us tips on how to purchase good quality of cold cuts. Definitely a must do food tour

Great day with our guide Brian. His knowledge is unparallelled, the food we had superb, the wines fantastic and he really had the group enthused about the experience. Would whole heartedly recommend this trip for anyone looking to learn , experience and enjoy Madrillan food, wine and iberian ham.

We had an incredible evening with Pedro! This tour was the perfect blend of history, food, and wine. Every tasting was exceptional and absolutely delicious. Despite some food sensitivities in our group, Pedro went above and beyond to ensure everyone had something enjoyable to eat. Food tours are my favorite activity when exploring a new city, and this one ranks as one of the best!

Our host shared interesting historical and gastronomic information covering the history of Madrid, tapas food and restaurants we visited, and nice wine overview to accompany our wine selection. He accomodated the requests of individuals in the group without issue. We had a good time and met fun couples.

I took my family and friends on this tour and everyone absolutely loved it. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and thorough when he was talking about the different types of ham and wine. He was friendly and even gave us recommendations for other restaurants and things to do around the city!

A nice small group of only 6 people. Pedro was fantastic with his knowledge of Jamon Iberico and the food history of Madrid. His passion wad self evident which made it very enjoyable for the group!
