  Carlos was very friendly and knowledgeable! We appreciated his humor and flare and he spoke really good English! It was a rainy day and he was quick to communicate a location change for pick-up.

  Tour with Marie the guide was good, informative and she kept us all on track. Unfortunately, no responsibility on the part of the guide, the palace is very crowded and had to move fast through it. She was very well educated about the palace. The earpieces a great idea and innovation for the tour

  After making a Royal Palace tour reservation several months before the requested date (as well as the Prado), Amigo cancelled the tour at the last minute even as other vendors were still doing the same tour forcing a large out of pocket expense. They offered an alternative time and date for the Royal Palace that was unacceptable as we had already booked other venues. They are an unreliable vendor and should be avoided.

  Terrible. I bought the ticket in advance and few days before the local operator cancelled on my. We did not have time to get another entry so I could no visit the palace. It was very unprofessional, as they sold something that apparently they did not have (tickets to enter) and in the process I missed the chance to visit the Palace. They offer to reschedule for the following month, which obviusly is not an option when you are traveling overseas for vacation. Very bad. You should not allow these type of operators.

  No, the guide either left 20minutes before the tour time or NEVER showed up. Two other groups arrived as directed 15 -20 minutes before the scheduled tour time. All three groups talked to your people without ANY resolution! I demand a FULL refund, or I will go through AMEX to get a refund. Not only did you waste a full afternoon, it screwed up our schedule for our 4days in Madrid. Vernon

  Amigo tour changed our tour timing for the Madrid Royal place tour on Sep 10. Its was at 9:30am and then changed to 2:45pm. We were there at the meeting point at 2:25pm and no one showed up and when we called the Amigo tour they said the guide is already in the place. There were two other families with us too. So we booked the tour again through Expedia and visiting the place today on Sep 11. So we need a refund from Viatour. Once I reach US will try to call Viatour support for the refund

  We had an excellent experience touring the Royal Palace of Madrid with Amigo Tours. Our guide was incredibly well informed and shared the history, art, and cultural details of the palace in a way that was both engaging and easy to follow. Every question we had was answered with depth and enthusiasm, and it was clear how much knowledge and passion the guide brought to the experience. The pace of the tour was just right—plenty of time to admire the details without feeling rushed.
