What To Expect
Royal Palace of Madrid
This historical site is today the official residence of the Spanish Monarchy and is also closely related to the origin of Madrid. The staircase used by noblemen in the 18th century and ambassadors nowadays, will lead us to 25 rooms with impressive frescoes, sculptures, chandeliers, tapestries, furniture, ceramics, royal family portraits and other sumptuous decoration. Meanwhile we will discover some of the most remarkable events in Spanish history, understand the life of a 18th century royal family and get to know some of the most interesting anecdotes kept within its walls.

5.00Our tour guide, Nico, was absolutely wonderful. He was extremely knowledgeable and very attentive. We were a very small group, which included myself, my husband, and two young ladies. This definitely helped as the palace was very busy. It was great that we were able to tour the palace rooms in a way which appeared much easier than if we had purchased tickets by ourselves. The palace was gorgeous, stories and history were great, a tour well worth booking. I absolutely would recommend this tour and if you need an English speaking tour guide you would be very lucky to get Nico. Nico we appreciate your friendliness, knowledge and thank you for your kindness during the tour.

5.00Nicolas was a very good guide. The palace can be overwhelming with all the vast rooms etc but his clear guidance through the palace with additional pictures from his iPad made the tour an interesting and informative one. Highly recommend.
