Sample Spanish nightlife and Madrid's tasty tapas on an evening walking tour that will tantalize your taste buds! In a small group you'll visit Madrid's tucked-away corners and feast on tasty treats you would never discover on your own, leaving you with a lasting feeling for Madrid, its people, and its fabulous food and drink!
Our unique pay-as-you-go system allows us to tailor the tour according to the tastes of the group. The tour price includes your first drink and tapas at the first bar you'll visit. Then, advised by your expert foodie guide, you choose what you'd like to eat and drink at the other bars you visit. For a filling night out, you should expect to spend about 35-40€ per person. and you'll taste anything between 12 and 20 different dishes!!! A fun way to discover Madrid.

What To Expect
Opera
We will meet between the two metro entrances of Metro Opera in Plaza Isabel II and introduce you to fellow travelers and explain the plan for the evening. PLEASE NOTE THIS ITINERARY IS AN EXAMPLE ONLY. OUR PAY-AS-YOU.GO SYSTEM ALLOWS US TO CHANGE THINGS AND ADAPT ACCORDING TO THE GROUP ON THE NIGHT. From here we will go to our first bar where the food and drink is included in the tour price (min 1 drink and 3 tastings) and get the evening started explaining the origins of tapas and some of its ins and outs. Duration 40 mins
Plaza Mayor
We will walk through the Main Square of Madrid and tell you a bit about its history and traditions and make a few suggestions on what to see/eat/drink during the rest of your stay. Duration: Passing through

Early Tour: Spanish people eat very late so this is an early version for people or families who might need their bed a little earlier!!!
Personalized service: We adapt where we go and what we order according to the likes/dislikes of the group on the night.

We enjoyed every second of the tour, there weren’t too many people on our tour which made it more intimate and enjoyable. We tried different foods, learned about the history of the places we’ve visited, and enjoyed the food, drinks, and company! Highly recommend booking with James - he’s awesome!

5.00Adventurous Appetites Tapas Tour was as unique as it was delicious. Guide James is a local expert who will guide you through the winding streets of Madrid’s Epicurean heart. You’ll visit the best of what Madrid has to offer in world class tapas. No tourist traps on this excursion!!! As you sample plates and plates of local delicacies, you’ll learn the history of amazing landmarks as well as the origins of tapas culture throughout Spain. Although there are other tapas tours, none compare to Adventurous Appetites.
