It is so great to hire a guide who leads a small group with audio in a huge and crowded museum like the Prado. With their expertise you get to see and learn so much more about the top artworks. High level , condensed art history course! We loved it.

Too crowded, too short of a tour, too many in the group. Not at all what I had hoped for. Skip the group tour, rent an audio guide at the museum.

Excellent, brief introduction to the museum. He discussed approximately 10 pieces in great detail to take us through time and the evolution of the art that is represented. Highly recommend.

Jose met us outside and provided a great orientation to the Prado and asked us about highlights we wanted to see. He took us to many paintings and rooms and expertly navigated the crowds of people. It was amazing to see art that I learned about in my youth and never imagined I would actually see. The best part was his insightful and knowledgeable descriptions of the art and history. He has a gentle and humble manner with a dry sense of humor. He led an engaging discussion that was so stimulating, it was perfect for learning and experiencing the art. I never thought I would see the Prado with a hippie art professor! He provided so much and met our interests well. What a great value and experience which I highly recommend.
